Law 15: The Throw-In
1. All divisions 8U and up use throw-ins to restart the game after the ball leaves the pitch across the touch lines.
2. The player taking the throw in must face the field, have part of each foot touching the ground either on or behind the touchline, and use both hands to deliver the ball from behind and over the head, without spiking or spinning the ball.
3. Opposing players must be at least 2 yards from the point the throw-in is being taken.
4. A goal may not be scored directly from a throw-in.
5. The player taking the throw-in may not touch the ball again until another player has touched it.


Law 16: The Goal Kick

1. A goal kick is awarded when the entire ball crosses the goal line outside the goal post and when last touched by an attacker.
2. The ball may be placed any where on or within the goal area (the little box). It does not have to be on the line or in a corner...just anywhere within that area.
3. The ball may be kicked by anyone on that team, it does not have to be the goal keeper.
4. The kicker cannot kick the ball again until it is touched by another player.
5. A goal may be scored from a goal kick but only against the opposing team.

8U Rules
6. Players on the kicking team can be any where, including within the goal area.
7. Opposing team players must be at least 10 feet away from where the ball is placed.
8. Ball is in play once kicked.

10U Rules
6. Players on the kicking team can be any where, including within the penalty area (the big box).
7. Opposing team players must be behind the Build-Out Line. and cannot advance towards the ball until the ball leaves the penalty area.
8. Ball is in play once the ball has left the penalty area.  No one can touch the ball before leaving this area. If it doesn't leave the penalty area the ball is brought back and kicked again.
9. Exception to Offside Law is permitted for the first person to receive the ball from a goal kick.

12U, 14U 19U Rules
6. Players on the kicking team can be any where, including the goal or penalty area (the big box).
7. Opposing team players must be behind the penalty area.
8. Ball is in play once the ball has left the penalty area.  No one can touch the ball before leaving this area. If it doesn't leave the penalty area the ball is brought back and kicked again.
9. Exception to Offside Law is permitted for the first person to receive the ball from a goal kick.


Law 17: The Corner Kick

1. A corner kick is awarded when the entire ball crosses the goal line outside the goal post and when last touched by a defender.
2. The ball may be placed any where on or within the corner arc area or on the corner for 8U.
3. Ball is in play once it has been kicked and moves.
4. A goal can be scored from a corner kick.
5. Kicker may not play the ball again until it is touched by another player.

8U Rules
6. Opposing team must be at least 10 feet away from ball until the ball is in play.

10U Rules
6. Opposing team must be at least 8 yards away from the corner arc until the ball is in play.
7. Exception to Offside Law is permitted for the first person to receive the ball from a corner kick.

12U, 14U, 19U
6. Opposing team must be at least 10 yards away from the corner arc until the ball is in play.
